Of Course Harry Styles Can Pull Off Purple Satin

Harry Styles is hitting all the rock star milestones: number one single (check), sold-out tour (check), and a killer Gucci-filled wardrobe (check, check, check). Styles has aligned himself nicely with designer Alessandro Michele's aesthetic, so naturally, he chose a lavender satin Gucci suit embroidered with dragons for his first solo concert, an intimate set at The Garage in London this weekend.

Serenading the crowd with tracks from his new album and a cover of Kanye West’s “Ultralight Beam,” Styles looked like a superstar, even as he left the venue. Pastels have become a staple within Styles’s wardrobe, and he’s had fun experimenting with various statement shades. The suit’s purple tones kept it from falling into millennial pink territory, hitting a different note from the rosy Edward Sexton suit he wore on the Today show a few days before. The dragon motif brought that Michele touch that coordinated perfectly with the denim jacket worn by his rumored girlfriend, Tess Ward, at the same event. Could this be the birth of another power couple that prefers to keep things low key? Either way, they've already mastered the art of the dressing in sync.
