Sarah Jessica Parker Has a Cinderella-Worthy Shoe Moment on the Front Row

Sarah Jessica Parker is no stranger to sparkle, and certainly not when it comes to shoes. In fact, the actress and designer, who recently opened her first stand-alone store at MGM National Harbor near Washington, D.C., is known for a dizzying number of takes on the twinkle-toes trend. Earlier this year, she stepped out in glittering ankle booties at Los Angeles International Airport, and before that it was shimmering ballet flats on the streets of Manhattan. Now it seems she’s taken a shine to another style: cutout brogues with buckle detail and a block heel.

The Anahita is part of the Fall 2017 SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker shoe collection, and won’t hit stores until next August or September—though Parker wasted no time in testing them out at New York Fashion Week. Seen exiting the Calvin Klein show earlier today, Parker’s footwear packed enough wattage to rival the star-studded front row. Parker wore a metallic brocade coat layered over a simple sheath (presumably from her new line of little black dresses for Bloomingdale’s) that didn’t detract from the Cinderella-worthy statement below the ankle. Seventies-inspired sunglasses were paparazzi-proof, while a leather cross-body bag left her hands free to tousle her hair for the cameras. We think Carrie Bradshaw would approve.
