Rita Ora’s Post-Premiere Look Takes Its Cues From Winter Storm Niko

Earlier this week while in New York City to promote her latest film, Fifty Shades Darker, actress and singer Rita Ora debuted a more ladylike approach to dressing in a lace frock and prim white coat. And last night in London, while attending the film’s after-party, Ora opted for shades of cream, honing her new look with boyish undertones.

Ora’s fashion game has tended to veer on the whimsical, with the actress testing the waters in eye-catching looks, including luxe grunge and OTT airport arrival moments, but her recent red carpet look was quietly sophisticated. This new direction was the result of Ora’s recent makeunder, which saw the singer swap out her sultry scarlet lip for a neutral shade. Last night’s palette, in shades of winter, followed suit. A mid-calf duster lent Ora an air of ease, while a cozy knit acted as a lo-fi piece to offset her formal, tailored trousers. Grounding the look were coordinating peep-toe sandals for a cool finish.
