Kendall Jenner Has a Patriotic Street Style Moment at New York Fashion Week

After more than seven days and dozens of shows, New York Fashion Week has come to a close. It’s bittersweet, for sure, but leave it to Kendall Jenner to serve up a glorious salute to the first city on the Fall 2017 show circuit.

The model was seen leaving the Marc Jacobs presentation yesterday, which over the years has been considered the grand finale, in an all-American patriotic style statement. Jenner looked quite cozy in a cute Ralph Lauren fisherman’s sweater bearing the U.S. flag, which harked back to ’90s threads from the homegrown designer favorite. The 21-year-old made the look her own in a now-signature puffer jacket, an outerwear style she has sported in every imaginable iteration from gold to silver—this exact duster included. We first saw the Miaou pin-striped trousers with chain-metal detail on Jenner’s model bestie, Bella Hadid. And while the pants could have easily been a postshow loan (the Hadid and Jenner sisters have both been known to shop one another’s closets), her burgundy platform-soled loafers were surely lifted right off the Marc Jacobs runway. Here’s hoping Jenner will find room in her London Fashion Week suitcase for her new accessory souvenir.
