Will These Celebrities Leave, Now That Donald Trump Is The President?

A lot of stars said they would move to Canada and other countries if Donald Trump won the US election, so it looks like it's time for them to pack their bags.

Amy Schumer said she would move to Spain, but she told the BBC that she would have to change her comedy acts because she doesn't speak Spanish.

Cher said she would move to Jupiter...

Former Daily Show Host Jon Stewart also told People Magazine he would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, although he didn't specify which one.

At one point, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg told the New York Times she would move to New Zeland if Trump won. However, it's not clear if she would actually go because she reportedly apologized for the comment.

Several celebrities said they would move to Canada, including Raven-Symoné.

Actress Lena Dunham got specific and told The Hollywood Reporter she would continue to do her work from Vancouver.

Barbara Streisand said she could move to Australia or Canada.

Samuel L. Jackson claimed he would move to South Africa.

George Lopez told TMZ he would move to Mexico.

Actress Natasha Lyonne said she would move into a mental hospital, but we're not sure in which country.

The list goes on and on.

Other celebrities who publicly said they would move out of the country under a Donald Trump administration include the following:
  • Al Sharpton
  • Spike Lee
  • Miley Cyrus
  • Bryan Cranston
  • Amber Rose
  • Whoopi Goldberg
  • Chloë Sevigny
  • Chelsea Handler
  • Neve Campbell
  • Keegan-Michael Key
  • Eddie Griffin
Amy Schumer said she was just joking when she said she’d leave the country if Donald Trump was elected president.

Schumer, a distant cousin of Senator Chuck Schumer, told BBC Newsnight in September she would move to Spain should Trump win.

"My act will change because I will need to learn to speak Spanish because I will move to Spain or somewhere," she said. "It's beyond my comprehension if Trump won. It's too crazy.

"However, Tuesday morning she took to Instagram to inform fans she was staying in America.
